Long Story Long:
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I'm a Midwestern girl at heart. I love anything to do with cheese despite my lactose intolerance. I carried my love of dairy and loyalty to the Green Bay Packers to Columbia, Missouri to study at the University of Missouri.
I originally traveled to the world's top journalism school to pursue broadcast; however, I found my true passion lies in creative, multimedia storytelling. I wanted to use my enthusiasm for videography, social media, and writing in a way that set my art-inclined mind free. In May 2018, I graduated with a degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Digital Strategy (and a business minor…and a multicultural certificate).
Now based in Chicago, I love people. Both personally and professionally, my biggest passion is people - who they are, what their stories are, and how I can make their lives better. I’ve come to realize that human connection is the most powerful force in this world, and that storytelling is an incredible way to harness that power. Whether through an Instagram post, a newsletter, a video, or a one-on-one conversation, I’m excited to make all people seen, heard, known, and loved. I want to use my career as an avenue for fostering human connection and allowing people to experience joy through it.
When I’m not hanging out with the people I hold dearest, you can find me looking for the latest internet trend, playing guitar, listening favorite Original Broadway Cast Recording, cooking, trying to learn something new, or reading up on pop culture. As an Enneagram 2, I love helping others and I strive to fill lives with encouragement, joy, and a whole lot of terrible jokes. I am on a constant journey to find the best chocolate frosted donut that exists (please contact me if you have any leads).
